These carpets are made with 100% pure new wool.
The wool of these carpets is obtained from small sheep that live in the Atlas Mountains, in Morocco.
The length and softness of this wool is what makes Beni Ouarain carpets so special and appreciated.
Once a carpet is knitted, it is left in the sun for several days and then carefully washed for several times to ensure its softness.
Beni Ouarain carpets are knitted using the ivory virgin wool from the body of the sheep, and black wool from their heads. This brown/black wool is used to make the geometrical drawings that make these carpets unique and tell stories about the women who knit them, making them really exclusive.
It is highly recommended to use a suction vacuum cleaner on your carpet to keep it in the best conditions. Use it as often as needed
Vacuum cleaners with brushing rolls may damage the carpet.
If the stain is yet wet, we recommend to quickly apply bicarbonate on it and use the vacuum cleaner 20 minutes afterwards, in order to absorb the stain’s humidity.
If the stain is dry, we recommend you to have it cleaned by a professional, as the fibers are very delicate and applying water or soap may make the carpet sink.
